THIS EXECUTIVE DOCTORAL PROGRAM is designed to advance the profes- sion of learning leaders. It prepares the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) and other senior-level human capital executives for success in their role as learning and talent development leaders. The program provides a rigorous academic environment where members build the skills necessary to ensure successful learning initiatives that will align with their organization's strategy. To earn the Doctorate of Education conferred by the Graduate School of Educa- tion at the University of Pennsylvania, students complete six course blocks com- prising: Strategic Leadership, Workplace Learning, Business Acumen, Evidence-Based Decision Making, Technology for Work-Based Learning and the final dissertation block.
