Obhi Dr. Sukhvinder S. Obhi is a professor in the department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour and directs the Neurosociety Lab and the Social Brain, Body and Action Lab at McMaster University in Canada. Dr. Obhi earned his PhD from University College London and was a visiting graduate fellow at Harvard Medical School. He is internationally renowned for his work on the psychology and neuroscience of power, non-verbal communication, and social interaction. His work has been covered by such media outlets as the Atlantic, CNN, the New York Times, Harvard Business Review blogs, NPR, and Canada's Globe and Mail, to name a few. Dr. Obhi has published more than 70 articles and has authored and edited three books. He is a scientific advisor to Korn Ferry Institute on topics related to leadership and diversity and inclusion, and he offers workshops, talks, and executive coaching on inclusive leadership. She has written for such forward-thinking organizations as the Great Place to Work Institute as well as for publications including Entrepreneur, San Francisco magazine, LUXE, and Napa Sonoma. In her former life as an editor in the custom publishing world, she helmed three award-winning publications.
