She is the retired president and chief executive officer of Calisolar Inc. (now Silicor Materials). Sandra previously served as corporate executive vice president of Celanese Corporation, where she led a group of spe- cialty chemicals businesses. Prior to Celanese, she held senior executive positions at Avery Dennison Corporation, Alcoa, and Honeywell International. Sandra graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in business, and received her MBA from the Ross School at the University of Michigan. Erin Chan Ding Erin Chan Ding is an independent journalist based in Chicago. She recently completed a 19-month weekly series for the Chicago Tribune profil- ing tech and start-up staffers, as well as several in-depth executive profiles. She has also written for the New York Times, Midwest Living, Fit Pregnancy, and the Los Angeles Times. After gradu- ating from Northwestern University in 2003, Erin worked as a features reporter at the Detroit Free Press. She also codirects AAJA Freelance, a national affinity group of the Asian American Journalists Association.
